Christy Fantz is a busy lady! As an employee of Prairie Mountain Media Group, she runs the features department for the Daily Camera and Longmont Times-Call as well as serving as the editor of the Colorado Hometown Weekly and the Broomfield Enterprise. As of January 2025, the Broomfield Enterprise had 40,000 weekly readers with more than 2,200 on the email subscription list, while the website receives more than 72,000 monthly visits. She explained the financial struggles of all local newspapers and encouraged members to send her any news tips (cfantz@prairiemountainmedia.com) and even letters to the editor. I expect we'll see a letter from Howard soon!
She also encouraged 250-500 opinion pieces, but those should be addressed to: Opinion Editor John Vahlenkamp (jvahlenkamp@prairiemountainmedia.com).
Tom mahoney's breakfast service
For the past four weeks, Tom Mahoney coordinated the annual coffee-and-breakfast service to the ARC drivers. Early each Saturday morning, Tom gets all the supplies and serves the drivers as they arrive. Thanks for spearheading this effort Tom!

Treasurer Greg Strong reminded members that quarterly dues statements have been sent. Please pay online or bring a check to the next meeting.
Epic Day of Service
Redd Upton announced final details for TOMORROW'S Epic Day of Service. We will again be partnering with the Broomfield Crossing and Westminster clubs to complete service projects in and around Bal Swan school. Shifts will be from 8am-12pm and 12-4pm. Lunch will be provided by iPie, but bring work gloves, sunscreen and a can-do attitude!
End-of-Year donations
If you would like to "move up" in Paul Harris levels, the club is running a points-match. For each $500 donation to the Rotary International Foundation, the club will match your donation with 500 points, moving you to the next Paul Harris level.
